PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger where a tank is constituted rationally. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger is equipped with tubes 210 for circulating media and a tank 300 to which the ends of the tubes are connected, and performs the heat exchange of the medium by the heat conducted to the tube. The tank is constituted by setting up a semicircular tank plate 310, and an end plate 320 which is provided with slots for connecting the ends of the tubes. The tank plate is provided with projections 313 to abut on the hems 320 of the end plate. Moreover, the tank plate is provided with a connector 400 for allowing the media to flow in and out. The connector is equipped with a pipe part 410 inserted into the tank plate, and as regards the pipe part of the connector, the diameter d1 in the longitudinal direction of the tank is set larger than the diameter d2 in its orthogonal direction.
