摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a magnetic head by which highly precise chip adhesion can be realized in a good yield without generating bubbles in the low-melting glass of a winding groove. SOLUTION: A laminated body block formed by alternately laminating metal magnetic films 9 and non-magnetic substrates 10 is cut at a prescribed angle to form a pair of core half body plates. Reinforcing grooves 15a are provided in the gap forming surface of at least one core half body plate 1 and the winding grooves 16a are formed in the gap forming surface of the other core half body plate 3. The reinforcing grooves and the winding grooves are filled with the low-melting glass to be a reinforcing material. Clearance grooves 2 are formed in the direction orthogonal to the metal magnetic film in the core half body plate in which the winding grooves are not provided. A gapped plate is formed by mutually butting the gap surfaces of the both core half body plates against each other so that the clearance grooves are positioned in the winding grooves coming close to the apex of the parts of the winding grooves. The magnetic head is formed by using the gapped plate.
