Cable channel cover

A cover for a cable channel or duct is made from a rectangular section of metal plate with two U-shaped sides (22,24). The lid has flat plugs (30) for a balanced pole connection. The plate is wider than it is long and at least one of the U-shaped sides is doubled back, the flap lying against the inner face of the plate, this area being where the flat plugs are. If both sides are bent back, the side with the plugs has a wider flap than the other one. The plugs are bent out from the flap but run parallel to the axis of the cable channel. There is a pair of these plugs, pointing in opposite directions.
