METHOD FOR JOINING SYNTHETIC RESIN CLIP TO NATURAL FIBER MEMBER AND SYNTHETIC RESIN CLIP USED THEREIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join a synthetic resin clip to a natural fiber member while decreasing equipment and reducing the number of work processes. SOLUTION: The method for joining the synthetic resin clip 1 to the natural fiber member consists of a step for preparing the synthetic resin clip wherein a plurality of pins protruded toward the surface of the natural fiber member are formed to the joining surface of the clip, a heating step [Fig 7 (A)] for heating the natural fiber member 2 to a moldable temperature, an arranging step [Fig 7 (B)] for arranging the heated natural fiber member at a predetermined position of molds (21 and 22) and arranging the synthetic resin pin in such a state that the joining surface thereof is present at the predetermined position of the natural fiber member and a molding and fixing step for molding the heated natural fiber member by a press molding machine 19 and melting the joining surface of the synthetic resin clip inclusive of the pins by the heat of the natural fiber member to fix the synthetic resin clip to the surface of the natural fiber member. Since the molding of the natural fiber member and the fixing of the synthetic resin clip are performed at the same time, equipment for molding and joining can be decreased and the number of work processes is reduced.
