PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for connecting a thermoplastic resin piping material which prevents the increase of channel resistance caused by the outflow of a molten resin into a pipe line in frictional junction and the stoppage of the channel. SOLUTION: When the connection end parts of two thermoplastic resin piping materials to be joined are engaged with the connection parts of a joining member having connection parts having an inside diameter smaller than the outside diameter of the piping materials or an outside diameter larger than the inside diameter of the piping materials, the joining member is rotated while force toward the joining member is applied to the piping materials, and the piping materials, while being melted, are inserted into the joining member for frictional junction, the piping materials are inserted into the joining member within two seconds.
