PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT system and a control method thereof, which can precisely and quickly position a table position and/or a subject position. SOLUTION: Based on projection data of one view collected by irradiating X-rays to a subject from a view in a specific projection angle, a deviation quantity of the subject position against a prescribed reference position and moves the table based on the detected deviation quantity or detects a deviation quantity at the subject position.
