COMPLEMENTARY ADENOVIRAL VECTOR SYSTEM AND CELL LINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multiple replication deficient adenoviral vector into which a larger adventitious DNA can be inserted and in which sufficient viral proliferation and fiber expression can be carried out in vitro and its complementary cell line. SOLUTION: This multiply replication deficient adenoviral vector has a replication deficient adenovirus deleted in all E2A regions except a sequence encoding a part of Nt domain of DBP required for sufficient viral proliferation and fiber expression and has a spacer in at least one replication deficient adenoviral region as well as a complementing cell line therefor. This method for constructing the multiply replication deficient adenoviral vector is provided. This method for use thereof, e.g. in gene therapy is provided.
