PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register video recording reservation to a video recording server from a remote place by a single reservation server regardless of an installation area. SOLUTION: When reserving a program from a program table by accessing the reservation server 2 by using a reservation terminal 3, data on the broadcast station code, the starting time and the finishing time of the program which is selected by the server 2 in stead of a user is transmitted to the video recording server 1. The server 1 registers video recording reservation regularly based on program information received from the server 2, and when the starting time comes, the server 1 automatically video-records the program. Since the server 2 and the server 1 have the table of common broadcast station code, the server 2 can designate a channel to video-record by only transmitting the common broadcast station code regardless of the installation area of the server 1 and the contents of channel setting. The server 1 inverses the broadcast station code to the receiving channel information of its own equipment regardless of the installation area of its own equipment and the contents of channel setting, and video-records the program by a proper receiving channel. |
