PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a dielectric ceramic which controls reactivity of ceramic raw material powder during sintering and has fine characteristics such as relative dielectric constant and insulation resistance, by reforming a surface of the ceramic raw material powder. SOLUTION: Barium titanate particles are added to a solution of coupling agent, which contains at least one of Ti and Si to prepare suspension. Thereafter, the suspension is dried to obtain ceramic raw material powder.
