<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a bandwidth and recover a packet loss efficiently in a packet network. SOLUTION: A link layer of a modem signal is terminated locally at both ends of calls, and the time difference is provided to the redundancy to recover a packet loss. When L, the number of the time difference, is larger than the number of a burst packet loss, the packet loss is recovered after the burst. In two data routes generated in the packet network, the packet stream and the redundant packet stream with L, the time difference, are transmitted. When the burst packet loss occurs in the channel, the data of Lth packet in the lost packet stream is connected to the corresponding packet in the redundant packet stream. In the case that L, the number of the time difference, is equal to 1, the system corresponds with the existing single redundancy system.</p> |
