PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary cell which is high in initial cell performance and can retain its cell performance over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The lithium secondary cell uses a non-aqueous electrolyte containing a lithium compound as an electrolyte. A carrier containing a scavenger substance capable of removing cell reaction obstructing substances is provided in a system of the secondary cell, and the scavenger substance is released from the carrier under preset conditions to remove the cell reaction obstructing substances. |
