The present invention is to provide a product information distribution system that can distribute product information most suitable to the preference of individual customer. A DB server 21 stores the product guidance information with a product code and the correspondence between the product code and a category code representing classification of preferences in the DB 39 and further stores a weight coefficient corresponding to this category code in the DB 39. The category code of a customer from an agent server 19 is received, and a product code most suitable to the customer's preference is extracted from the DB 39, based on the count of the received category code of the customer and a weight coefficient corresponding to the category code of the customer, and the product contents corresponding to the product code extracted from the DB 39 are read out to prepare distribution information corresponding to the customer.
