METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TRANSFER CERAMIC ROLLER

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a transfer ceramic roller is provided to improve thermal stability, dimension stability, wear-resistance, and low heat conductivity properties of a roller at a high temperature application part. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a transfer ceramic roller comprised of an inner steel shaft and an outer insulation cover is comprised of steps of; forming a cylindrical ceramic molded article with a vacuum molding process after making slurry by adding water and inorganic binder in ceramic fiber containing non-fibrous particle of less than 1 percent; mounting the ceramic molded article in the inner steel shaft successively and compressing it along a longitudinal direction of the steel shaft; and forming a particle layer on the ceramic insulation cover by agglutinating an inorganic binder between gaps of fiber by repeatedly applying the surface of the ceramic insulation cover with the inorganic binder and drying it.
