PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder in which the structure is simplified and the cost is reduced by decreasing the number of components, and the image recording performance is enhanced by enhancing the rigidity at a part for supporting a component related to recording operation. SOLUTION: A right side plate 100B, i.e., the bending plane from a plane 100A, is provided with a hole 100h for fixing one end of a guide shaft at the time of main scanning of a recording head. Upper end of the right side plate 100B is fastened, at a caulking part 100r, to the end of the bending plane 100H from the plane 100A. Similarly, a left side plate 100C provided with a hole 100i for fixing the other end of the guide shaft is fastened at a caulking part 100s to the bending plane 100H.
