PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble clip which facilitates recycling of paper and which can be used even in extreme dryness and also even at high temperature and high humidity. SOLUTION: The clip is melt-molded out of a water-soluble and thermoplastic resin material of which the normal-temperature Izod impact strength in absolute dryness is 1.3 kg.cm/cm or above and of which the modulus in flexure on the occasion of being left in a normal-temperature 65%-RH environment is 5.500 kg/cm2 or above.
