PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cord housing device preventing a cord containing part from being opened even when a hinge part is broken after repeated opening/ closing operations and facilitating operation of winding an excessive part of a cord. SOLUTION: In the cord housing device, a lid body 2, which can be fitted to a mounting block 1 having a shaft body around which the cord can be wound, is provided with multiple cord leading-out cut parts 9. A first fitting part 5a formed near the joint part of the bendable hinge part 3, which integrally combines the mounting block and the lid body, and a second fitting part 6a formed near the combined portion of the hinge part and the mounting block are so formed as to be fitted with each other.
