PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of the refrigerating capacity of an absorption refrigerator by preventing liquid seal phenomenon and smoothly conduct extraction of noncondensable gas from an absorber. SOLUTION: An extraction pipe 25, which is inserted into the absorber for removal of the noncondensable gas in the absorber, is rendered to have a flat shape whose cross section is small in height and large in transverse direction, with its end 25a being sealed and a bottom surface 25b which is provided with a hole.
