PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrocautery with excellent insulating performance. SOLUTION: The electrocautery comprises a metal tube member, a hook member electrically connected to the tube member at the tip of the metal tube member, a bushing member made of a conductive metal electrically connected to the tube member at the base end of the tube member for receiving a power source, an insulating material enveloping the tube member and the metal bushing member in the axial direction, and an insulating bushing member with a socket mounted at the base end of the tube for storing the metal bushing. |
