PURPOSE: A pulse code modulation data application service apparatus is provided to store the pulse code modulation data source by using a flash memory capable of adding/changing data, thereby providing various services such as a ring or tone service etc. CONSTITUTION: A main board(12) includes an interface board(10) and a ROM(Read Only Memory)(11). A flash memory(21) performs a store and delete operation of data inputted from a PC(Personal Computer)(20) according to the selection signal of a user. The flash memory(21) also transmits the stored data to the interface board(10) according to a control signal and can record/delete data. The user downloads the data stored to the flash memory(21) through the interface board(10) to a digital telephone(13) and thereafter selects and uses various rings and tones.
