PURPOSE: To generate a high quality musical sound signal fluctuating with time in a musical sound signal generating device circulating a vibration waveform signal and forming the musical sound signal. CONSTITUTION: The musical sound signal generating device is provided with a loop circuit part 10 incorporating a filter circuit 11 and a delay circuit 12 and a control signal generation part 20 controlling the loop circuit part 10. When a control signal PRES is inputted from the control signal generation part 20 to the filter circuit 11 through a subtractor 16, the vibration waveform signal starts to propagate through the loop circuit part 10. The delay circuit 12 controls the delay time of the vibration waveform signal according to the control signal PIT, and it decides the frequency of the vibration waveform signal. A filter control circuit 50 decides control parameters m, μ, k by the signal adding the vibration waveform signal showing an air stream propagating through the loop circuit part 10 and flowing through an instrument to the control signal EMBS showing posture and tighting state of a performer's lips (mouth piece), and it controls the signal transmission characteristic of the filter circuit 11 according to respective parameters. |
