PURPOSE: A cylinder block structure is provided to prevent the damage of an engine by preventing the generation of a scratch caused by an impact interference between a cylinder block and a piston. CONSTITUTION: In a cylinder block(1) for guiding the reciprocating motion of a piston, a works reinforcing piece(3) is extended to the lower part of a cylinder block bore(2) to cover a tail part of a piston skirt. A chamfer is formed on the works reinforcing piece(3).
