PURPOSE: An intelligent call routing apparatus and method in a mobile communication system is provided to prevent a phenomenon that a load is concentrated on some intelligent network system and increase efficiency in management of the intelligent network by enabling a call distribution function even for a call to be routed to the intelligent network according to expansion of a network management system. CONSTITUTION: A call distribution processor(110) changes/distributes suitably routing information of a call and transmits it, when receiving the call. A call control processor(120) includes an intelligent network routing table storing intelligent routing information, checks whether an origination subscriber is an intelligent network subscriber by using subscriber information stored in a home location register when a call is attempted from a terminal, checked whether the system to which the subscriber belongs performs a call distribution function by confirming information of the intelligent network routing table if the origination subscriber is an intelligent network subscriber, transmits call data to the call distribution processor if the system to which the subscriber belongs performs the call distribution function, and controls path in such a manner of skipping the call distribution processor if the system to which the subscriber belongs does not perform the call distribution function. A routing processor(130) confirms the routing information of the call data and routs it to a corresponding one of a plurality of intelligent network systems if the call data is received from the call distribution processor or the call control processor.
