PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic joint body for a long guide rail, which has excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance and is easily made, the guide rail formed by using the ceramic joint body for the guide rail and a method of manufacturing the ceramic joint body for guide rail. SOLUTION: In the ceramic joint body for the guide rail, which is composed of a ceramic sintered compact, the ceramic joint body is obtained by jointing silicon nitride sintered compacts having <=15 cm length and has >=30 cm length, the silicon nitride sintered compacts are jointed with each other by the reaction of liquid phase components contained in the sintered compact and the sintered compact having >=600 MPa bending strength and <=0.1% warpage in the center part in the longitudinal direction is used. |
