METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING PACKETS FOR LARGE DATA TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting packets for large data transmission is provided to secure the reliability of packet transmission and prevent waste of time and resource due to whole data retransmission in case that packet is lost. CONSTITUTION: Data are divided into five packets and the packets are transmitted successively(32). A receiving end(31) transmits an acknowledge signal to each packet. A transmitting end(30) transmits the packet 1 and the receiving end transmits the packets successively. If transmission is completed without lost packets, the receiving end(31) transmits an acknowledgement to each packet to the transmitting end(30) as soon as the transmission is completed, so that transmitting confirms transmission. If there is the lost packet, the transmitting end(30) retransmits only the lost packet. If the receiving end(31) confirms transmission of all packets, the receiving end(31) transmits an acknowledgement regarding to the whole message to the transmitting end(30).
