PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid cooling system suitable which is suitable for a extremely compact and thin semiconductor device with high heat generation and ensures corrosion resistance or a personal computer using this system. SOLUTION: The liquid cooling system is provided with a pump for supplying cooling liquid, a heat receiving jacket to which the cooling liquid is supplied for receiving heat from a heat generating body, a heat radiating pipe to which the cooling liquid transmitted through the heat receiving jacket is supplied for radiating heat, and a route for circulating the cooling liquid transmitted through the heat radiating pipe to the pump. An ion exchanger to be brought into contact with the cooling liquid is arranged on the cooling liquid route between the heat radiating pipe and the pump.
