An electric fan is provided to continuously blow cool wind up and down and to move and use the fan in a place where there are no electric facilities. An electric fan includes a first device to continuously shift wind blown down from a body column(45) of the electric fan, and a second device to orient the wind of the electric fan in the front side. The first device includes fan blades(10) coupled with a first motor(20) to blow the wind downwardly, a first wind directional plate(30) and a second wind directional plate(31) respectively having upper sides connected to the fan body column. The lower sides of the wind directional plates continuously move up and down to shift the wind continuously up and down. A synchronizing motor(25) is used or an action wire(60) is used to continuously change the direction of the wind up and down. The blades are coupled to blow the wind to the front side. The body column and the first motor are connected by a hinge. The part formed by the first motor and the blades is rotated about the hinge by 90 degrees.
