PURPOSE: A shock reducing system in case of a first speed stopping of a wheel type excavator is provided to reduce the stopping shock by automatically converting a first speed stage to a second speed stage, thereby preventing the safety accidents due to the shaking or dropping of heavy articles. CONSTITUTION: A shock reducing system in case of a first speed stopping of a wheel type excavator includes a 2-port select valve(21) connected to a third line(11) and opening a flow channel according to a rearward pilot valve signal, a 2-port select valve(22) connected to a fourth line(12) and opening a flow channel according to a forward pilot valve signal, a sequence valve(25) connected to the 2-port select valves, a relief valve connected to the sequence valve, a solenoid valve(5) connected to the relief valve for the conversion between the first second speeds, and a transmission connected to the solenoid valve.
