PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weighted upside clamping press mold terminal for battery which does not make a terminal body and a blacker deform due to the uniform load added when clamping a clamping piece by a bracket. SOLUTION: The upside clamping press mold terminal for battery comprises a terminal body 2; which is constructed by forming an electric wire connecting part 6 by folding a metal plate, and forming battery post mounting holes 13, 20 holding a battery post at upper and lower side parts 10, 11 extending from the electric wire connecting part 6, and forming prescribed slits 14, 21 at the top end part of the upper and lower side parts 10, 11, and bending both side end parts of either upper or lower side part of clamping pieces 17, 18, 22, 23, which are formed into rectangular shape, pairing at left side and right side, toward lower inside so that the outer surface forms a curved surface; and a bracket 3, with tapered surfaces widening toward upside, facing each other at left side and right side. The curved parts of the clamping pieces 17, 18 of the terminal body 2 are abutted with the tapered surfaces of the bracket 3, and clamped and fixed to a battery post by clamping the clamping pieces 17, 18 and the bracket 3 with bolt and nut 4, 5. |
