PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for fixing a flyback transformer and a structure and a method for fixing a component on a printed board, with which a component can be readily attached to the printed board at a low cost. SOLUTION: When a component such as a flyback transformer or the like is provided with an engaging piece whose end is bent and the engaging piece is inserted into an engaging hole provided in a printed board so as to engage the bent portion to an edge of the engaging hole, the printed board is padded with solder and the solder is disposed between the bent portion and the printed board so that a component is pressed onto the printed board. Consequently, there can be provided a structure for fixing a flyback transformer and a structure and a method for fixing a component on a printed board, with which the component can be readily attached to a printed board at a low cost without using an adhesive.
