PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rent a digital camera at various windows of a convenience store, an event hall, a theme park, an airport, and the like. SOLUTION: This rental system for an imaging device for allowing a rental service user to rent and use the imaging device, provided by a rental service provider and provided with a function of recording data, including image data and voice data, is provided with the imaging device 1 with the function of recording data including the image data and voice data; a data read-write device 2 connected to the imaging device 1 to transmit and receive data to and from the imaging device 1; a central management device 4 for managing the rental status of the imaging device; and a communication means (a network) for connecting the data read-write device 2 to the central management device 4. The image which is photographed by the image pickup device 1 is outputted via the data read-write device 2. |
