PURPOSE: Provided is a recovery system for waste hydrochloric acid which controls the temperature of circulating NaOH solution under 60deg.C to prevent water from being evaporated and keep discharge concentration of HCl to be low so that it is widely useful in recovering the waste hydrochloric acid. CONSTITUTION: The recovery system for waste hydrochloric acid comprises the parts of: a calciner(210) which pyrolyzes liquid iron chloride and iron oxide into Cl2 gas; an absorption tower(230) which recovers the discharged Cl2 gas as HCl solution; a washing tower(250) which includes a circulation pipe(251) to supply neutralization liquid and a filling layer(253) to neutralize the unrecovered HCl gas and eliminate; and a cooling facility which includes a heat exchanger(255) to lower the temperature of neutralization liquid, a cooler(256) to cool covalent discharged from the heat exchanger at normal temperature, a coolant pump(257) to supply coolant for the heat exchanger again and a coolant storage bath(258) to supplement coolant to the cooler.
