<p>A method of controlling a synchronous motor, which permits a low-cost constitution without using a position sensor, and can realize an excellent performance over a low- to high-speed-region range. A control operation unit (601) estimates a deflection angle Ζ, and outputs to an inverter device (602) an instruction value signal of decreasing the inverter angular frequency of the inverter device (602) when the deflection angle Ζ is positive, and of increasing the inverter angular frequency when the deflection angle Ζ is negative. The inverter device (602) controls the synchronous motor (604) at an inverter angular frequency according to the instruction value signal.</p> |
