APPARATUS FOR ANALYZING CLEANNESS OF TRANSPARENT STRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze a clean state of perforated photographic films, etc. SOLUTION: Analyzing the clean state of the perforated strip 30 is carried out by using an automatic analysis apparatus and a supporting and guiding device 10 for the strip 30 to be analyzed. The supporting and guiding device 10 comprises a transparent revolving cylinder 12 provided with at least one shallow groove 13. Opaque masks 14 which are essentially superimposed on perforations 31 of the strip 30 are arranged in the groove 13. The arrangement prevents recording from being disturbed and deteriorated by light beams emitted from a light source 20 located near the analysis apparatus. The analysis apparatus enables to measure the pollution by particles on the surface of the relatively transparent and perforated plastic strip 30, directly and nondestructively without image conversion.
