HOLDING DEVICE FOR REACTOR MONITORING TEST PIECE AND ITS FIXING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding device for reactor monitoring test piece capable of easily taking out a test piece holder from a nuclear reactor. SOLUTION: The holding device for reactor monitoring test piece containing a reactor monitoring test piece taken out of core by remote controlling has a fixing plate. It is fixed to a specific position using a shear bolt having a shear part by way of the fixing plate and the periphery of the bolt is locally tack-welded to prevent the rotation of the bolt in the constitution. Therefore, if a bolt placed in a part of the holding device for reactor monitoring test piece placed on a refueling machine existing above the reactor or in the core of the reactor apart fairly downward (ca. 20 m) from a working floor is rotated with a handling tool, then the tack-welding is removed and the shear part of the bolt is cut and so it can be easily taken out using a hook.
