PURPOSE: A telephone structure capable of performing PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network), VoIP(Voice over Internet Phone) connections and the call processing method thereof are provided to possess PSTN and VoIP integrally for processing a call and perform the Internet telephone call in the state that the power of the terminal is turned off, thereby removing the inconvenience that various telephones must be used according to the used telephone network. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(200) controls a tone control unit(140) for providing the tone being required to a destination of an Internet telephone. A route control unit(210) performs a function that a communication channel formed through a PSTN(300) or an Internet(400) is connected to a receiver(110) under the control of the control unit(200). A CODEC processing unit(220) compresses a general electrical audio signal and then converts the compressed data into an electrical signal. An echo canceler(230) removes an echo sound in a communication line and regulates an electrical signal level. A protocol processing unit(240) produces or analyzes the Internet protocol. A LAN/terminal matching unit(250) provides a connection route to the LAN and charges the matching function to a terminal, that is, a PC.
