PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor of high reliability securing a nitrosulphurized layer on a sliding surface of a vane over a long period of time. SOLUTION: This compressor has a piston 4 eccentrically rotated coming in sliding contact with the inner surface of a cylinder 3, and a vane 7 provided at the cylinder 3 so as to be driven coming in sliding contact with the piston 4. The vane 7 is formed of an iron sintered body having an independent hole 11 in a sliding surface 7a, and the sliding surface 7a of the vane 7 is provided with the nitrosulphurized layer 12 to attain the purpose.
