PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyor device capable of surely sandwiching a belt by clamp hangers even when an arc-shaped part of a rail is diametrally reduced by preventing the occurrence of a large inclination in the clamp hangers when the clamp hangers turn and travel along the arc-shaped part of the rail. SOLUTION: In this belt conveyor device where the endless rail 1 for connecting a forward passage to a backward passage by the arc-shaped part 1S is installed between a carrying-in part and a carrying-out part of a carrying object, the plural clamp hangers 2 are mutually arranged on this rail 1 so as to freely travel via a connecting member 10, an endless belt 5 is arranged along a lower part of the rail, a side end part of the belt 5 is sandwiched by the clamp hangers 2 between the carrying-in part and the carrying-out part, the sandwiching is released in an introducing part of the carrying-in part and the carrying-out part, and the belt 5 is sandwiched again in a sending-out part, an arc-shaped guide member 55 is arranged for checking an excessive inclination by abutting to a rising sandwiching arm 14 when the inclination is caused in a clamp part 4 along the arc-shaped part 1S of the rail 1.
