PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat radiation structure for a lighting system capable of sufficiently lowering the sealing part temperature of a lamp without carrying out special work, and of keeping the long service life of the lamp with high power, and allowing the design of a small halogen lamp device. SOLUTION: This heat radiation structure for a lighting system is provided with the lamp 1 and a socket 2 for mounting the lamp 1. In this case, a thermal resistance reducing member 20 for reducing thermal resistance between the lamp 1 and the socket 2 is installed, and the temperature of the sealing part of the lamp 1 is lowered by using the socket 2 as a heat radiation member 26 at the same time.
