PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal cell substrate which is thin and light in weight and has a light diffusing function for preventing the glare due to illumination light and a backlight incorporated in a liquid crystal display device, and to provide a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal cell substrate and to provide the liquid crystal display device using the liquid crystal cell substrate. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal cell substrate consisting at least of a gas barrier layer, a base material layer and two hard coat layers each of which is an outermost layer are characterized in that at least one of two hard coat layers contains transparent particles. |
