PURPOSE: A cast iron composition for casting cylinder head is provided to minimize ferrite segregation and improve shrinkage hole by excluding Mo in cast iron while the Cr and Cu content is adjusted higher than conventional cast iron. CONSTITUTION: The cast iron composition for casting cylinder head comprises C 3.2-3.5 wt.%, Si 1.8-2.0 wt.%, Mn 0.55-0.90 wt.%, P 0.10 wt.% or less, S 0.10 wt.% or less, Cr 0.30-0.60 wt.%, Cu 0.4-0.65 wt.%, Sn 0.07 wt.% or less, Ni 0.20 wt.% or less.
