If the crankshaft 22 is a five-cylinder crankshaft with five crankpin parts 22d, when the crankpin parts 22d located from one end to the other of the crankshaft 22 are designated as a first to a fifth crankpin part 22d-1 to 22d-5, grinding is executed on a combination of the first and fourth crankpin parts 22d-1 and 22d-4, on a combination of the second and fifth crankpin parts 22d-2 and 22d-5, and on the third crankpin part 22d-3.
