[Class 113 (ii).] In metal boats the bottom comprises one or more light metal castings which at the sides are rebated as at c to provide recesses for the reception of sheet-metal sides d. The castings may be in halves to provide an upstanding internal keel b. Stringers e at the gunwale serve as supports for deck beams. The ribs, which may be constructed as described in Specification 356,900, are provided with a central recess which locks on the keel and with a recess for a longitudinal at the turn of the keel.
