<p>The strap tension display uses a pair of outer guides (1,3) and a centre guide (2), engaging the opposite sides of the strap (4) with the deflection of the guides in response to the strap tension detected, e.g. by a visual scale. The guides are contained in a housing (5), formed in two halves (5a,5b) for fitting around the outside of the strap, the upper half (5a) contg. the centre guide and the bottom half (5b) the two outer guides. Pref. the two housing halves are coupled together by a hinged snap fitting. ADVANTAGE - Subsequent applicability, and facility to prevent slip of untensioned strap.</p> |
