PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire against a flat tire is provided to improve driving experience and steering stability by increasing the stiffness of reinforcing rubber in the flat tire with modifying the shape of reinforcing rubber. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire is composed of a tread part(1), a side wall(2) and a bead part(3). A reinforcing rubber(4) is installed in the side wall. The lower part of the reinforcing rubber is fixed in the side wall, and the upper part of the reinforcing rubber is spaced from the side wall. A fitting sill(5) is formed in the lower part of the tread part to fit the upper end of the reinforcing rubber, and made of rubber. The lower part of the reinforcing rubber is fixed in the side wall from a bead toe(30) and the upper end of a bead filler(31). Impact is buffered with transmitting through the side wall from the tread part by separating the reinforcing rubber from the middle of the side wall. The downward movement of the tread part is restricted with fitting the end of the reinforcing rubber to the fitting sill in decreasing internal pressure from a flat tire. Lowering of driving experience or steering stability is prevented with keeping the stiffness of the reinforcing rubber.
