PURPOSE: A shock-absorbing hood lock of a vehicle is provided to protect a walker safe by minimizing a shock transmitted to the walker in a head-on collision of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A shock-absorbing hood lock of a vehicle comprises a bracket(110) fixed on the bottom of a hood(1), connecting pieces(120) fixed on both sides of the bracket, strikers(130) combined with a latch and sliding in contact with the connecting pieces, fixing pins(140) to combine the connecting pieces with the strikers, tension springs(150) to elastically separate the fixing pins from through holes(120a,130a), and a shock sensing lever(160) to unlock the fixing pins when a shock is applied to the hood. When a shock is applied to the hood, the shock sensing lever is pushed down and a locking protrusion(162) is released from a locking recess(142) of the fixing pin. When the walker collides against a vehicle, the hood falls down and a shock is damped.
