PLUG CONNECTOR WITH AUXILIARY LOCKING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A plug connector having a secondary locking apparatus is provided to combine the plug connector with a socket firmly by placing the secondary locking apparatus in the final locking position. CONSTITUTION: A plug connector has a secondary locking device(8) with legs(10), and legs fix locking arms of the plug connector in the final locking position of a socket(16). The secondary locking device has a spring arm(12) with a step(13). The spring arm is supported on a locking projection(15) formed on a housing of the plug connector. The secondary locking device is fixed in the pre-locking position, and the step is lifted up from the locking projection in inserting the plug connector to the socket. The secondary locking device is locked in the final locking position.
