PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the initial discharge capacitive characteristics of a positive electrode active material useful as a positive electrode material of a lithium secondary cell and composed of a lithium manganese multiple oxide. SOLUTION: In the lithium manganese multiple oxide, the peak intensity ratio (A/B) of the deffraction peak intensity (A) observed at 15.3±1.0 deg. to the diffraction peak intensity (B) observed at 18.2±1.0 deg. in a powder X-ray diffraction under the following measurement condition is expressed by 0.001<A/B. The measurement condition is, X-ray source: CuKα line (CuKα=1.5418 Å), divergence slit: 1 deg., scattering slit: 1 deg., light receiving slit: 0.2 mm and step width: 0.05 deg.. |
