PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the fabric-rolling device of a loom, which can control a fabric-rolling tension at a proper value in response to the change in the diameter of a rolled fabric on a fabric-rolling roll. SOLUTION: This fabric-rolling device 11 of the loom, characterized by having a torque-controllable motor 15 for driving a fabric-rolling roll 14, a rolled fabric diameter detector 16 for taking out as an electric signal the information related to the rolled fabric diameter of the fabric-rolling roll 14, and a rolled fabric-driving controller 17 for the programmable control of the driving of a motor 15 on the basis of an electric signal related to the diameter of the rolled fabric. The fabric-rolling roller 14 is driven with the torque-controllable motor 15 to subject the tension of the rolled fabric to a programmable control in response to the change in the diameter of the rolled fabric on the fabric- rolling roller 14.
