<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost for a platform door device having driving mechanisms mounted on respective platform doors. SOLUTION: This platform door device comprises an electric motor mounted in a door case thereof; a first pulley rotated by the electric motor; a belt horizontally placed between a first pulley and a second pulley; a fixing member for fixing one portion of the belt on the platform door of a first entrance; and a second fixing member for fixing one portion of the other belt on a platform door of a second entrance adjacent to the first entrance, thereby driving the doors of adjacent entrances by a common driving mechanism.</p> |
