<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to select illumination patterns on a display section according to use conditions. SOLUTION: When control details are input by an operation of an operating key 1, control details are displayed on the display section 2, a control code is generated by a control code generating section 3, and the control code is transmitted as an infrared signal from a transmission section 4. When selecting from among the illumination patterns stored in an illumination pattern storing section 7 by operating an illumination pattern selecting section 8 i.e., 'Light is on upon operating an operating key', 'Light is in the prescribed time zone', or 'Light is always off', it is discriminated which pattern is selected by a discriminating section 10, and an illuminating section 5 is turned on/off by an illumination control section 6 based on the selected pattern to illuminate the section 2. A battery voltage detecting section 11 detects the voltage of a battery. When the voltage value is the same as a prescribed value or lower, the illumination section is turned off to lengthen the battery service life. Furthermore, an occasionally illuminating section is turned on/off by operating a key 9 for turning on illumination.</p> |
